The Lighthouse Clinic in Newport won 2 national awards at a prestigious virtual ceremony earlier this month.
A ceremony was held over zoom by Dr Hillary Jones MBE and featured some tough competition from Dermatology clinics across the UK and Ireland.
The 1st winning entry was ‘Skin Cancer Teledermatology Assessment Service’ in the Digital and Technology Solutions for the Treatment of Skin Conditions category.
The 2nd big win was ‘Small and Beautifully Formed’ winning the coveted Dermatology Team of the Year.
This award recognises the value of outstanding innovative team achievements that can be a multidisciplinary or collaborative team working and which have measurably improved care for people with skin conditions and their families and/or carers.
