AUDIO: Isle of Wight based TAG Design Agency has completed the rebranding of Newport-based Chartered Accountants Bright Brown, giving them a fresh and distinctive new look across all aspects of Bright Brown’s business.
The two companies celebrated the rebrand with a joint open day on Friday, inviting clients to view Bright Brown’s new look building and to see TAG’s newly launched office, both at Exchange House on St Cross Lane in Newport.
The project involved a new logo, signage, office supplies and website.
Ian Jackman Read, designer at TAG Design Agency said:
“It’s been a complete redesign for Bright Brown and I wanted to present them in a modern way, using a clean font and an orange colour scheme that is a ‘bright brown’.
“The new logo is looking great in the Bright Brown offices. Each of their client meeting rooms has a feature wall with a huge vinyl display incorporating the brand, which really stands out against the newly repainted clean white walls.

Talking about TAG itself, Ian continued:
“For our own office I wanted TAG Design Agency to look modern and minimal. Our name stands for Together Achieving Goals and we’re proudly displaying that message in Helvetica on vinyls across our walls. I’ve always been inspired by Peter Saville’s design work for Factory Records so our office is a bit of a nod to that too.
“We’re celebrating our first year in business and we’ve been really busy and I’ve been doing lots of commissions for clients. Designing our own office has been great fun!”
A spokesperson for Bright Brown said:
“We wanted to break away from the mundane image of accountancy and TAG Design Agency certainly achieved that with the bold colours and fresh new image. TAG have created a timeless, future proof look for our business. It’s been great working with Tara and Ian. They delivered everything we wanted and have made us look marvellous.”
