A newly launched Isle of Wight meal prep company has quickly gained momentum, producing more than 500 meals per month just a few months after launching.
Macros, a locally-based business, offers fully portioned, macro-balanced meals designed to support those looking to improve their health, fitness and routine without the need for extensive meal planning.
The company says its service is aimed at individuals who want to stay consistent with their nutrition while balancing busy lifestyles, with meals prepared fresh on the Isle of Wight and delivered twice weekly across the Island at no additional cost.
Unlike some mainland providers, which deliver frozen meals once per week, Macros’ offering is cooked locally and delivered fresh.
The business has also secured a partnership with Isle of Wight-born professional MMA fighter Conor Tymon, who is currently preparing for an upcoming bout in Thailand in May/June. As part of the agreement, Macros will supply meals to support his training, feature on his fight kit and stock products at Brotherhood MMA.
In addition, Macros has partnered with Assassins Gym IOW and is sponsoring local fighter Kieran Allen.
Macros has also formed links with personal trainers and gyms across the Isle of Wight, helping to establish itself within the local health and fitness community.
Feedback from customers so far has been positive, with users reporting that having ready-prepared meals has helped them stay on track with their diet and reduce the stress associated with planning and cooking.
