Isle of Wight foodies can now discover their next favourite local restaurant, takeaway, or food delivery service with the new DineWight app, which has launched for the first time this week.
The DineWight app shows all restaurants nearby, not just paid partners, to give diners an unrivalled number of restaurants to choose from. Users can see photos, menus, the number of dietary options, reviews, hygiene ratings, booking and ordering options and more.
At least 50 new restaurants will be added to the app every month until every restaurant on the Isle of Wight is featured.
23-year-old Ellis Lynas, founder of DineWight, says:
“As an Islander and self-confessed foodie, the problem I was faced with was finding good restaurants that were suitable for everyone in our party and that maybe weren’t our usual favourites, as we like to try somewhere new every now and again. I found there was no one app or website to make finding a restaurant as easy as it should be. I would use multiple apps and websites which was time-consuming, frustrating, and very limiting.
“The DineWight app is the first all-in-one restaurant guide app for the Isle of Wight and is part of only a handful of mobile apps developed from the ground up, locally, and specifically for the Island. We are super proud of this.
“As we grow, we are committed to listening to our community of diners and restaurants to continually improve DineWight, the app, and future services with regular updates and new features”.
The app can be downloaded on Android or via the Apple store.
