The public affairs consultancy run by Islander and Newport West Councillor, Chris Whitehouse, has been listed as 13th in the national league table of such agencies produced by leading trade magazine PR Week.
The table shows that The Whitehouse Consultancy turned over just over £1.5million in the last financial year.
Speaking today, Chris Whitehouse says:
“This is the first time we have submitted an entry for the PR Week league tables and we are absolutely delighted to find we are up there with the major players in the sector. 13th may be unluckly for some, but not for Whitehouse.
“We are on target for further substantial growth in the current year following our appointment at the end of last year of a new Managing Director, Helen Munro.”
The agency has also today launched its new look website with a fresh clean layout, which will be reflected across social media including twitter and LinkedIn. As well as a provocative political blog, the company also runs a number of political twitter feeds specializing in such subject areas as health, education and environmental policy.
The company was also a finalist in the Public Affairs Awards 2014, shortlisted for Best European Campaign.
