
5 businesses on the Island have been shortlisted for accolades in this year’s Beautiful South Tourism awards.
Nominees from Ventnor, Shanklin and Bembridge have made the final cut in the awards for ventures across the South East of England.
Ventnor’s Haviland Cottage is a finalist in 2 categories; Dog-Friendly Business of the Year and Self-Catering Accommodation of the Year, with Art Deco House UK in Shanklin joining them on the shortlist for the latter category.
The Clifton, in Shanklin is nominated for the B&B and Guesthouse of the Year category, while Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park, in Bembridge, is up for Holiday Park of the Year.
Completing the list is Ventnor’s Royal Hotel, which is a finalist in the Restaurant of the Year category.
The shortlisted establishments will find out their fate during an awards ceremony at the Grand Brighton on Tuesday 13th November.
