A motorcyclist is being treated by paramedics after being hit by a Land Rover Discovery in a road traffic collision in Ryde tonight (Friday).
The crash, which occurred at the junction of West Street and Ratcliffe Avenue at 18:00, has led to the closure of the road.
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service has deployed a critical care paramedic, an operational commander and an ambulance to the scene, with retained firefighters from Ryde mobilised for scene safety.
