UPDATED: A motorcyclist is being attended to by paramedics this afternoon (Sunday) following a road traffic incident at Eleanor’s Grove near Fishbourne.
Police and paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service are in attendance at the scene by Quarr Abbey, where a male motorcyclist has sustained suspected injuries to his leg.
The incident occurred at around 13:30.
Traffic is building in the both directions. Motorists are advised to find an alternative route.
UPDATE @ 14:05 – One male has been conveyed to St Mary’s Hospital by land ambulance. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The scene has been cleared to the side of the carriageway allowing traffic to start flowing once again.
