UPDATED: Emergency services are in attendance at Lake this evening (Tuesday), where a motorcyclist has received injuries following a collision with a car.
Paramedics are treating a male motorcyclist for leg injuries following the crash outside Tesco Express at just before 20:00.
Part of The Fairway has been closed by Police, however motorists are able to divert around.
The motorcyclist’s injuries are not life-threatening.
UPDATE @ 20:40 – The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service are to convey the injured 22-year-old rider to St Mary’s Hospital.
The car involved – a Peugeot – is to be recovered from the scene, after which the road will be reopened.
