A motorcycle has been destroyed by fire after being dumped and set alight in Ryde this morning (Tuesday).
1 fire appliance from Ryde was mobilised to Rosemary Lane, between Ashey Road and Smallbrook Lane, at just gone 06:00.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the small blaze to prevent it from spreading through the woodland.
Black smoke could be seen in the area as the fire ripped through the 50cc scooter, located around 30m into a woodland walk.
Hampshire Constabulary have been informed of the incident due to the suspicious nature.
