A motorcyclist has escaped serious injury after colliding with the rear of a stationary vehicle in Lake this evening (Wednesday).
Emergency services were called to the scene on Newport Road outside the Central store at just before 19:25 after a motorcycle crashed into the rear of an Audi.
The car was waiting to turn into a side road when the collision occurred.
Island Echo readers say the motorcycle was driving questionably prior to the collision taking place.
Police and ambulance crews have attended the scene, but the incident has since been cleared.
