43-year-old Richard Moore from Newport has pleaded guilty to a number of attempted child sex offences.
Moore appeared before Southampton Crown Court yesterday (Monday) where he pleaded guilty to grooming a child and arranging to meet a child to engage in sexual acts.
The arrest and conviction of the 43-year-old comes as a result of a sting operation by ‘SKID’ – a group set up to catch and bring to justice would-be offenders.
Richard Moore has been remanded in custody for sentencing on 26th February.
