Islanders are being asked to keep a sharp eye out for missing 23-year-old Stevie Cane from Surrey, who has been reported missing and may be on the Isle of Wight. Stevie, from Dorking in Surrey, left his home address on 29th December and is now believed to have travelled to the Isle of Wight, possibly the Freshwater area. He is described as white, about 6ft tall, of slim build, with short brown hair and a moustache. He has a West Country accent. If you have seen Stevie, or have any information about his whereabouts, call 999 quoting reference 44240014482. UPDATE @ 13:23 – The appeal has now been withdrawn, as Mr Cane has been located. Mr Cane commented on Island Echo’s Facebook page to say that he wasn’t missing.
