MISSING MAN PROMPTS EMERGENCY POLICE RESPONSE TO NETTLESTONE

Reports of a man having gone missing in Nettlestone led to an emergency Police response to the village this afternoon (Friday). Officers from across the Island converged on the Caws Avenue area at just before 14:30. Police searching the area between Pondwell and St Helens successfully located the male a short while later. Island Echo understands that the same male went missing in August last year, which prompted a similar response.
