Hampshire Constabulary has issued an appeal this afternoon (Friday) in hope to find missing 15-year-old Megan who may be on the Island.
Megan is from Southampton and was last seen at 14:30 yesterday afternoon. It is said she has links with the Isle of Wight.
She is described as a white girl, approx. 5ft tall, of petite build with dyed red long hair, worn up.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary has said:
“We are appealing for the public’s help to locate 15-year-old Megan.
“Megan, who is from Southampton, was last seen at 2.30pm yesterday afternoon (Thursday 21 January).
“We are concerned for her welfare and are now asking members of the public to report any sightings of her to us.
“Megan is believed to have links to the Isle of Wight.
“When last seen, Megan was wearing a grey jacket with fur around the hood and light blue jeans. She was carrying a black school bag and a Sports Direct bag. She may have changed clothing since she was last seen.
UPDATE SUNDAY – Police have confirmed that Megan has been found safe and well at an address in Ryde.

Considering the only way here is by ferry and the amount of passengers are lower than normal surely she would be on CCTV, lets hope she is found quickly.
well…if the police were at the ferry ports, ensuring that public health legislation of wearing face coverings was being adhered to and that essential travel only was being undertaken, then they would already know or have picked her up………..but no, they are too busy sipping tea and asking for more council tax money
Why would the police be at the ferry ports checking on face coverings? People in cars are not required to wear them and neither are foot passengers. You clearly have a low opinion of the police but then most low life criminals do.
Where was the girl last seen. The must be CCTV you could look at.
A lot of ‘ unsavoury’ people now in Soton. We will have the same issues here soon. So remember that come voting time.
Hope she is found, there are some vile people now in this country, hence homes built should be for just Island people, but we all ‘know’ what sort will soon fill our homes, maternity wards, schools, courts and jails.
How awful it must be for her parents.
Let’s hope for good news for a change.
Let’s hope she is found soon safe and healthy.
