MINOR CRASH BETWEEN TESLA AND SEAT CAUSES MAIN ROAD TAILBACKS

A minor 2-car collision in Wootton is causing lengthy tailbacks on the main road between Ryde and Newport this morning (Wednesday). A Tesla Model Y has come into contact with a white Seat Ateca on High Street, Wootton Bridge, at the junction for Lakeside Park Hotel. The incident is causing traffic to backup in both directions with delays of 5-10 minutes. The incident occurred shortly before 10:45. Thankfully, no serious injuries have been sustained with 2 occupants reporting minor injuries only. Recovery of both vehicles is underway.
