Forecasters are predicting a mini heatwave across the Isle of Wight this weekend and into next week, with 30c possible at times.
IW Met Service says that as we move into the weekend and the first part of next week the weather looks like turning very warm and sunny with temperatures in the high 20s, possibly even reaching 30c in a few spots.
Saturday looks like a warm day with light winds, although there may be some coastal fog at times. Temperatures are expected to reach the low 20s.
Sunday will see the temperatures starting to rise under mostly sunny skies. The winds will be light and it will feel very warm for the time of year with temperatures in the mid-20s.
Monday will be another warm day, in fact probably even reaching the ‘hot’ category with temperatures in the high 20s, but there may be a little more in the way of cloud cover.
The weather could possibly start to breakdown on Tuesday although it is highly uncertain at the moment. The latest charts suggest another very warm or hot day with temperatures in the high 20s, potentially even seeing 30c.
