Mindset Bros, the Isle of Wight-based men’s mental health community, has celebrated an unforgettable evening at last Friday’s Vectis Radio Community Awards , securing 2 of the night’s most prestigious honours – Community Project of the Year 2026 and Overall Community Champion.
The awards recognise the impact Mindset Bros has made across the Isle of Wight over the past 2 years, supporting men through walk and talks, one-to-one conversations and community-driven events designed to break stigma and encourage open discussion around mental health.
Founder Ross Taylor described the moment as both humbling and emotional:
Ross Taylor, Founder, has said:
“We are incredibly proud to win these awards, but more than anything, we are humbled to be recognised in this space.
“To sit in that room, surrounded by so much support, and witness the emotion, the vulnerability and the unity from our team… it’s something we’ll never forget.”
From grassroots beginnings to now hosting multiple weekly walk and talks, engaging with dozens of men each week and building a growing community both online and offline, Mindset Bros strives to make a difference.

Ross Taylor added:
“These awards aren’t just for us.
“They are for every single man who has turned up, opened up, supported someone else or simply taken that first step to be part of something bigger. This is your win too.”
As Mindset Bros approaches its next chapter, the team remains committed to expanding its reach, strengthening its support network and continuing to create safe spaces for men across the Isle of Wight.
With momentum stronger than ever, these awards mark not a finish line, but a significant milestone in a journey that is only just getting started.
