Island Roads have been forced to close Middle Road at Calbourne this afternoon (Sunday) due to a fallen tree.
The carriageway has become blocked in both directions close to New Barn Farm – just before Sun Hill in Calbourne when heading west.
Contractors have been called in to clear the debris as a result of the tree falling in high winds.
The road is expected to re-open this evening.
