Cowes RNLI went to the aid of a 20ft cabin cruiser at the mouth of the River Medina during the early hours of this morning (Sunday).
The volunteer lifeboat crew launched at the request of Solent Coastguard at just after 03:30 after it was reported the vessel, with 1 person on board, had broken down.
It was discovered that the boat had suffered engine failure and was taken in tow to a safe berth just past the floating bridge slipway.
