UPDATED: A car has crashed into a traffic light in Ryde this morning (Monday).
The incident, which occurred just before 08:00, has taken place at the junction of Queens Road and West Street – near to Ryde School.
Police and paramedics are on scene but no one is thought to have been injured.
Traffic is reported to be heavy in the area.
UPDATE @ 08:40 – The car has now been recovered from the central traffic island. Traffic is returning to normal levels.
