We would like to wish all of our readers, advertisers and supporters a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
2017 has been a fantastic year for Island Echo and we’ve published no less than 3,500 articles since 1st January – that’s an average of around 65 Isle of Wight news stories delivered to you each and every week for free (save yourself 90p).
Between now and Wednesday 27th December we are running a reduced news service – this means you will see less from us over the coming days, but we will maintain to be first with the latest breaking news should an incident occur. Tragically, we know from the events of 2016 that news doesn’t stop over the festive period.
It’s back to normal on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday before another short period of rest and relaxation. Our 24 hour news service will resume fully on Tuesday 2nd January.
Emails and social networks will be monitored very lightly throughout our reduced service period and our telephone line (01983 898288) will not be monitored, although voicemails can be left. You are advised to email [email protected] instead.
Don’t forget you can follow our Light up the Wight Christmas Lights tour map and vote for your favourite display at www.islandecho.co.uk/xmaslights.
Have an enjoyable Christmas and please remember… Don’t drink and drive.
