A man in his 60s was taken to hospital following a fall from height in East Cowes last night (Friday).
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service mobilised a retained crew from East Cowes at just before 21:00 following a request for assistance from colleagues at the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
Emergency services arrived at the address on Old Road and soon transferred the casualty into an awaiting ambulance for onward conveyance to St Mary’s Hospital.
The male had fallen from a roof and landed in the garden.
The incident was closed less than an hour later.

The elderly and heights dont mix
60 is not elderly. Hope you have a cushy job to take you to retirement at 68.
