A man in his 30s suffered a head injury following an assault in Seaview late last night (Tuesday).
Police say that the incident took place at Priory Bay Hotel – between Seaview and St Helens – sometime between 22:00 and 22:30.
The injury is not thought to be serious but officers are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
Enquiries are ongoing at this time.
