A man in his 30s suffered a head injury following an assault in Seaview late last night (Tuesday).
Police say that the incident took place at Priory Bay Hotel – between Seaview and St Helens – sometime between 22:00 and 22:30.
The injury is not thought to be serious but officers are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
Enquiries are ongoing at this time.

Not for guests until 17th May but if they have an outside garden they can open for drinks like a pub garden.
