Firefighters have been in attendance at Morrison’s in Lake following reports of a leaking fridge this morning (Saturday).
Retained crews from Shanklin and Sandown were mobilised to the supermarket at 03:20 to check for leaking refrigerant gas and provide ventilation.
A refrigerator engineer also attended the site, with firefighters standing down shortly after 04:30.
Not surprised, when I worked there in admin, I was forever calling out the repair men…. cost cutting, take yer money, treat the workers bad and not maintain anything properly. Glad I got out.
