Phoenix Choir sung their hearts out at All Saints Church, Ryde on Saturday (15th October) – the last concert of their 2022 season.
The audience enjoyed a wide variety of popular songs including Cabaret, You Light Up My Life, Sloop John B with the men’s choir and All I Ask Of You with Phantom Of The Opera.
The solos this time were Blowin’ In The Wind with Jan Merwood, Bring Him Home with Paul Stevens, City of New Orleans with Ian Attrill and Climb Every Mountain with Elizabeth Habens.
Including the results of a well-supported raffle the evening raised £1,165 to go towards the refurbishment of the church’s heating system.
Phoenix Choir will now be working hard on their programme for 2023 which should start in Spring.
