Firefighters worked to extinguish a large fire in the open in Totland last night (Tuesday).
Both the pumping appliance and water carrier from Freshwater Fire Station were called to Cliff Road at around 18:15.
Hose reels and main jets were used to extinguish the fire. Crews spent over an hour on the scene.
