A fire at a pub in East Cowes has been extinguished by firefighters this morning (Monday).
Crews from Newport and East Cowes were called to The Prince of Wales pub opposite Osborne House at around 11:10 following reports of smoke issuing from the kitchen.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus and a hose reel to quickly extinguish the small fire. The building was then ventilated.
The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service have now left the scene.
