Wightlink Cycle Racing Team member Kev Chant travelled to Petersfield last weekend to compete in the ‘May the 4th Ham Barn Storming’ 10 mile time trial.
The out and back dual carriageway TT is on a usually very quick undulating course, however in unfavourable conditions it was a slower day.
Kev had a brilliant ride in one of the most prestigious races this season in the South of England – he was up against a number of top class TT specialists and narrowly took the win by 4 seconds in a time of 19.26.
On his performance, Kev said:
“This is a course I’ve always wanted to win on for a number years so I’m really pleased with the result.”
