Isle of Wight rapper Fugo Kid has released his latest single One of a Kind.
The new track, which is available to stream now, will feature on an EP currently scheduled to be released this summer.
One of a Kind was produced solely by Fugo Kid, the stage name of Jack Portuito, and is about Jack’s experience with making rap music when rock and pop dominates the Island music scene. It follows the release of Do It Like This?, Fugo Kid’s single from March.
Speaking about the new release, Fugo Kid said:
“I’m very excited to show people this new and different style I have gone with on this song and the EP.
“I think it will be fitting for the summer.”
Inspired by Loyle Carner, Niko B and Kofi Stone, Jack hopes to bring a jazz and hip-hop genre to the Island.
Earlier this year, he supported rising Isle of Wight rock band 5 Degrees North when they performed a headline gig at Newport’s Strings Bar and Venue.
