Young Isle of Wight model Aryia Phillips is making her mark after landing shoots with Asda George and Zara Kids – and now sees herself in Asda’s Newport store!
Aryia and her twin sister Nylah were signed to the London agency Bruce and Brown earlier this year after their parents set up an Instagram page during COVID-19 to share family photos. It wasn’t long before Aryia was booked for her first professional shoot with Asda George in the Cotswolds.
The countryside setting proved the perfect backdrop as Aryia – who attends Lanesend Primary School in Cowes – overcame her nerves, made friends and even posed with a baby goat.

Soon afterwards, she was selected by Zara Kids for a campaign in Spain. Although her family were initially unsure how she would cope with the travel and intensity of a 5-day shoot, Aryia embraced the challenge and thrived throughout.
Although her sister Nylah did not travel to Spain, she hopes to take part in a shoot of her own in the future, using the opportunity to raise awareness of Type 1 diabetes by proudly showing her Omnipod Insulin pump. In the meantime, she keeps busy with Wighttricks while cheering on her sister’s success.
Speaking to Island Echo, Aryia’s mum, Estelle, has said:
“We’re very proud parents and grateful to be representing our little Island.”
