The annual Summer funfair will be returning to the Isle of Wight in August, visiting Cowes, the Garlic Festival, Sandown and Newport – plus a much-welcomed return to St Helens!
For 2025, the funfair won’t be visiting Newport’s Seaclose Park as the first stop. Instead, the family rides will be rolling into Cowes! Between 5th-10th August, the fun park will take up residency at Northwood House.
It’s on to The Garlic Festival on 16th/17th August, before Sandown’s Yaverland Car Park plays host to the funfair between 22nd-31st August – but the rides will be closed on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
For one day only, on Bank Holiday Monday (25th August), the funfair will make a welcome return to St Helen’s – open 10:00 until late.
The Isle of Wight visit will conclude in Newport on 6th/7th September when the funfair sets up at Seaclose Park, open 13:00 until early evening.
On Saturday 9th August (Cowes) and Friday 22nd August (Sandown), Islanders are invited to experience the Dinosaur Invasion!
There is no visit to Yarmouth this year, nor is there a return to Ryde.
Attractions are token-operated with tokens available to purchase – by cash or card – from the sales booth. The fare for 1 token set at £1.20 or 10 for £10.

Bring back the good old fashioned fun fair
not this rubbish.
Yeah! Bear baiting too!
Don’t forget the poor little innocent goldfish in a
bag.
