Islanders using the O2, Tesco or GiffGaff mobile phone networks are experiencing signal issues on the Isle of Wight today (Saturday).
Don’t be alarmed if you are finding it hard to send or receive calls and texts. It appears that the problem is affecting thousands of people up and down the country.
Locally, it seems some mobile phone users are feeling the outage more than others.
A spokesperson for O2 has said:
“Our technical teams are investigating reports of issues when some customers are using voice services in parts of the UK.
“We apologise for any inconvenience.”
Updates will be made available via https://status.o2.co.uk.
Three, Vodafone and EE networks are unaffected.
