Continued growth and rising customer demand are driving expansion at Sandown-based Island Windows, with recruitment now underway.
The company says continued demand for UPVC, aluminium window and door repairs has prompted the need for an additional engineer to join the Service & Repair Team.
The opportunity to join the respected Isle of Wight business is on a full-time basis, with the successful applicant playing a key role in representing Island Windows at customer premises, carrying out on-site repairs and remedial works to a very high standard.
A fully stocked company vehicle will be provided, allowing most jobs to be completed efficiently on the first visit. Where immediate repairs are not possible, the engineer will be responsible for providing customers with detailed quotations and following up as needed to ensure a smooth resolution.
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in window and door servicing, or at least 5 years’ experience in installation or manufacturing. A professional, customer-focused attitude is essential, along with a solid understanding of health and safety regulations. A clean, valid Full UK or EU driving licence is required, and applicants must be aged 25 or over to meet vehicle insurance criteria.
Immediate start is available, with a salary based on experience. Working hours are advertised as 08:00-16:30, Monday to Friday.
