On Thursday 30th June, outgoing Year 13’s of the Island VI Form took part in their leavers Prom at Landguard Manor in Shanklin.
The magnificence of the venue, however, was surpassed by the elegance and style of the students, each and every one of whom had really gone to town to recreate that Old Hollywood glamour – the theme of the event.
The Prom committee – elected to organise and oversee the event – had been working over the last 6 months to create their perfect prom after a tumultuous few years.
After having examination conditions changed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, students will have to wait to see how the adapted exams they have just finished went when the results are released next month.
Blessed by good weather, the evening was the perfect way for students to end their time at the Nodehill campus before many of them head off to University.
