Island Roads says that highway operatives responded to more than 220 call outs during Storm Eunice.
Of the 224 incidents between Friday and today, 83 related to trees/heavy branches that had come down and needed to be cleared from the highway.
A total of 333 calls were made to the PFI contractor, but some of these were duplicate reports or unrelated to the storms.
Although the majority of incidents were quickly resolved, a number of roads remain closed at the start of the new week. Watergate Road in Newport remains shut due to a leaning tree and Elm Lane, Calbourne is also closed to allow Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks to make repairs.
Manor Road footpath in Shanklin (behind Big Mead) is likely to remain closed until at least Wednesday due to a number of mature trees that have fallen.
Egypt Hill in Cowes, where there is an issue with hoarding around a construction site, also remains closed.
As previously reported by Island Echo, winds of 125.4mph were recorded at The Needles on Friday morning with destruction and disruption felt across the Island.
