An inquest has been opened and adjourned into the death of a Cowes woman, who died from multiple injuries after being found outside her seafront property.
On the morning of 20th September last year, Dr Deborah Vivian Eileen Cumming, known as Debbie, was found lying on the ground in a courtyard area at her home address on The Parade, Cowes, as previously reported by Island Echo.
Emergency services attended the scene but there was nothing that could be done to save her life. She was pronounced dead at 09:56.
A post-mortem examination has since been carried out and concluded that Debbie – a dog walker – died as a result of multiple injuries.
The inquest has been adjourned to allow further enquiries to be completed.
