The Met Office have issued a yellow weather warning for ice on the Isle of Wight tomorrow morning (Friday).
Following a spell of rain, temperatures will fall quickly later on tonight and into the early hours allowing ice to form on untreated pavements, cycle paths and roads. A few showers of rain, sleet and hill snow will follow, possibly giving a slight covering of snow over higher ground.
Forecasters say that some injuries from slips and accidents on icy surfaces are possible. Some roads and railways are likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services.
The warning is in force from 04:00 until 10:00.
