Hungry Bear is making a highly anticipated return this Easter, with the relaunch of its popular delivery service as a standalone food business on the Isle of Wight.
After nearly 2 years away from offering deliveries, with a residency at the Crab & Lobster in Bembridge, The Hungry Bear Delivery will officially relaunch on 20th April, bringing back the much-loved service that built a strong following across the Isle of Wight.
Led by Stuart Downes, Hungry Bear is now entering a new phase with a focus on expanding its food offering and reconnecting with customers through its signature delivery experience.
As part of this new chapter, Hungry Bear has formed a strategic partnership with Khia Janzen of The Events Co. The collaboration will see Hungry Bear operate from The Events Co’s established 4-star rated prep kitchen, which was last inspected in October 2025, providing a strong foundation for the relaunch.
Hungry Bear is currently registered as a new food business and is awaiting its own official food hygiene inspection, which will assess the same premises.
Stuart Downeshas said:
“We’re incredibly excited to bring Hungry Bear Delivery back to the Isle of Wight. The response so far has been amazing, and this is just the beginning of what we have planned.”
Khia Janzen, of The Events Co, has said:
“This partnership is a fantastic opportunity to combine our strengths. We’re looking forward to supporting the return of Hungry Bear and building something really special together for the Island community.”
The relaunch marks the start of wider plans for both Hungry Bear and The Events Co, with further collaborations, products and events expected to be announced in the coming months.
