Alongside the popular existing features of live tracking, easy to view timetables and dedicated offers pages, several additional features have been incorporated in the new design.

The sleek new design of Hovertravel’s app makes buying a ticket on-the-fly more efficient and more pleasurable for travellers. The app allows for completely paperless travel: just buy your ticket on the app and then show your on-screen boarding pass at the gate.
Another key feature of the app is journey planning, allowing you to find scheduled times for interconnecting services all the way from the Isle of Wight (including Island Line trains and Southern Vectis bus services) through to mainland destinations such as London, Southampton and Bournemouth.
“Our new app will appeal to regular users who want to be kept up to date whilst on the go and we anticipate that we will see an increase in bookings from ad hoc customers who will take advantage of being able to plan and book a hovercraft trip on their phone from anywhere in the world.”
Existing users can simply update and new users can visit the App store to download the new app.
