Hovertravel has suspended its cross-Solent service this morning (Monday) due to continuing adverse weather conditions.
As many commuters head back to work for the first time since Christmas, and children return to school, the wet and windy weather is hampering travel efforts.
Hovertravel announced a suspension of its Ryde to Southsea service at just before 05:50, with an update expected at 07:45 at the earliest.
Tickets are being accepted on Wightlink’s Fast Cat Service to and from Ryde Pier Head.
UPDATE – Services will resume at 13:15 from Ryde and 13:30 from Southsea.
