UPDATED: 2 appliances from the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service are in attendance at Green Street in Ryde this evening (Wednesday) amid fears of a house fire.
Firefighters are using a thermal imaging camera to check for any hotspots in a row of properties opposite Fellowship House.
Fire crews turned out at just gone 19:30 following a 999 report.
UPDATE @ 19:52 – Both appliances have now stood down and returned to station. No fire has been identified.
