Southern Water are apologising to customers in Ningwood and Cranmore who have been left without water this afternoon (Friday).
A main pipe has burst on Station Road, resulting in a total loss of supply or low pressure to residents in the area.
Engineers are on scene and are working to resolve things as quickly as possible.
Station Road is to be closed to facilitate repairs from the junction of Main Road to Wellow Road.

More house building, all needing water means water companies then keep upping the pressure in the old pipes, causing some to burst.
They don’t lay a new main every time they build a new housing estate, so, will happen more and more now.
