IW Met Service are warning of heavy rain across the Isle of Wight later on tonight and into tomorrow (Wednesday).
A yellow weather warning has been issued and is valid from midnight until midday tomorrow.
Forecasters say that throughout the second half of the night and into Wednesday morning we will see some very heavy and prolonged spells of rain, potentially enough to cause some flooding in the usual prone areas along with lots of field run-off along with areas of standing water.
Exact amounts will vary locally but between 10mm and 20mm is likely, with a few places seeing up to 30mm.
