Islanders are being invited to complete a rural crime survey to help Police direct resources to the areas that are of concern for residents.
The new rural strategy for 2023 is about to be launched highlighting the areas that the Force needs to focus on that cause people the most harm. In writing this strategy, Police would really like to hear the issues that Islanders are facing in the rural community and how Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary can improve the level of service that they provide.
Rural crime is said to be a priority for Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary which invests in dedicated rural crime teams and neighbourhood officers.
Inspector Bishop of the Country Watch Team says:
“As your rural policing lead for the force, I have been working with the Office of the Police Crime Commissioner for Hampshire and Isle of Wight to create this survey to gather your views. This will enable us to make really positive improvements moving forward.
“Your thoughts and views are really important to us”.
Views must be submitted before Sunday 30th April 2023 at https://survey.alchemer.eu/s3/90526859/Rural-Crime-Survey.

Top of country side crime, are the IW Council Planning Committee and their friends the developers.
Problem is these Bembridge based ‘developers’ are in the Masons, as are top Police personal, so nothing will be done, as for the same reason nothing is done about the fox hunting which still goes on.
The public know it, but as there is nothing people can do, they just give up or distrust authority, perhaps rightly so, which gives a ‘them and us’ attitude to life.
Rather than just tell everyone on here make your feelings known in the survey its very quick and very easy.
