Local charity, Youth Options, says it is very excited to announce that it will be offering childcare provision on the Isle of Wight from September 2021.
Starting in the Autumn term, Youth Options will be taking over the management of the preschool and out of school sessions at Dover Park Primary School in Ryde. In addition to the preschool, they will also be offering a breakfast and afterschool club and a holiday club at the school.
Youth Options already run a number of Ofsted registered childcare options including a preschool, afterschool club and holiday club in Andover, and a woodland-themed preschool and holiday club at their forest school sites in Eastleigh. Any profits from their services go towards their charitable work supporting disadvantaged children and young people across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Drawing on the success of their existing services, their focus will be to replicate their vision on the Isle of Wight, offering a mix of fun & enjoyment whilst taking part in constructive activities that encourage engagement with learning, and development of social & emotional capabilities.
Kirsty Reynolds, Early Years and Childcare Manager at Youth Options said
“We are delighted to be working with Dover Park Primary School to supply high quality Early Years and Wrap around care to the local community in Ryde. We have been working hard to create an environment ready for September that will stimulate and help the children to develop and grow and give them their best possible start in life.”
Anita Wilcox, Head Teacher at Dover Park Primary School stated that
“It has been very sad to see our nursery provision standing empty since March 2020 and so we are excited to be able to offer a service to our families again in September.
“Youth Options are a very experienced childcare provider and we are thrilled to be working with them to provide our families, local community, and future Dover Park pupils with the best possible start before coming to school. We will also be delivering an exciting offer for our older pupils and the local community by providing breakfast and after school clubs and a holiday club.”
