Island Roads say that the decision has been made to treat the planned routes from 05:00.
Motorists are being reminded to drive carefully and according to the road conditions.
To find a list of all the Island's gritting routes, you can visit our dedicated Isle of Wight Gritting Routes & Winter Maintenance page.
