Island Roads will be deploying its gritters across the Isle of Wight’s road network this afternoon (Tuesday) – and again tomorrow morning – due to the forecast for sub-zero temperatures.
The fleet of gritters will be leaving the Stag Lane depot from 17:00 to treat the usual roads.
Due to the forecast, gritter drivers will be hitting the roads once again from 05:00 tomorrow morning.
Motorists are being urged to take extra care on the roads.
