Gritters will hit the Island’s roads during the early hours of tomorrow morning (Saturday). Island Roads says that the decision has been made to treat the precautionary routes, as well as bridge decks at Stag Lane and Foxes Road in Newport. The salt run will commence at 02:00 from the Stag Lane depot.
