Gritters will be deployed across the Isle of Wight from 04:00 tomorrow morning (Sunday).
Island Roads has taken the decision to treat roads due to the forecast conditions.
There are no ice warnings in force for the Isle of Wight tonight, however.
Motorists are told to drive carefully and according to the road conditions.
To find a list of all the Island's gritting routes, you can visit our dedicated Isle of Wight Gritting Routes & Winter Maintenance page.

I got too close to the salt spreader as it drove by.
I do enjoy winter, but I say that through gritted teeth.
Gritters out at 4am, but no ice warning??.
Gotta waste taxpayers money somehow…….
Where do they get their forecasts from? There is as much chance of a frost tonight as there is of the council reducing parking prices. Looks like an excuse to use up the remaining grit so the gritting teams can put their feet up ’til November.
